Picabeen Community Association Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation located in Mitchelton in North West Brisbane.

Our History

The Picabeen Community Association was formed at a public meeting in 1992 as the Hills and Samford District Welfare Association.  Originally incorporated in 1994, the Association changed its name in 1996 to the Picabeen Community Association.

Picabeen has been serving the community in various capacities and today is a multi service hub that promotes social cohesion

Our Aim

To be a Professional centre of excellence in Community Support which helps people enhance their Quality of Life through a range of Services and Activities

Our Vision

To provide opportunities for community members to experience all aspects of wellbeing including physical, emotional, social, spiritual, economic and environmental
