Picabeen Community Centre is off to a great start this year with community playgroup on Mondays and Fridays, English conversation classes on Tuesdays and Fridays, our community BBQ on Tuesdays, sewing circle on Thursday afternoons, our LGBTQI+ Safe Space on Wednesday afternoons and Youth Drop-in on Thursday afternoons.
Have you heard about No Interest Loans (NILS)? NILS provide individuals and families on low incomes with access to safe, fair, and affordable credit and may be applied for at Picabeen Community Centre by arrangement with Good Shepherd Finance and Logan East Community Centre. Bookings are essential, please see our website for further details at picabeen.org.au.
Have you considered volunteering? We always have opportunities available in a range of different and interesting roles. At the moment we are specifically at the Change Room Op Shop, so if you have some time on your hands and would like to get involved with a lovely community, please get in touch!
