Picabeen Community Centre recently held a mini-Expo at the Changeroom Op Shop, highlighting the services provided by Picabeen to the local community. The Changeroom’s funding goes directly to Picabeen to support these services. We are well supported by the local community with donations and sales.
Some of our funds have recently been utilised towards buying equipment for the Picabeen Playgroup that is held on Fridays and Monday. Another community effort was a donation to the Mitchelton Special School, supporting them in their role.
You can find our Changeroom Op Shop at 8 Dallas Parade Keperra, we welcome donations of secondhand clothing during shop hours: Monday-Friday 9am-4.30pm, Saturday 9am-1pm.
Our Community Centre is located at 22 Hoben Street Mitchelton. Our Playgroup runs Monday and Friday mornings from 9.30am-11.30am all parents and care givers welcome for children 0-5.
