Safe Space
April 29 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Picabeen has created a safe and supportive space where young people can grow, thrive and be authentic. We believe that all young people deserve the opportunity to realise their full potential, regardless of their background or circumstances. This “Safe Space” offers refuge to young people facing diverse challenges, especially those from the LGBTQIA+ community. It facilitates activities, engagement and provides a sense of belonging.
This space is about LGBTQIA+ SB young people (12-18y) and allies to connect, socialise and develop life skills in a safe, respectful, and empowering environment.
It is where young people find strength and resilience, discover their identities, and gain the confidence to face life’s challenges. This session runs every Wednesday in the youth space
