Our Volunteers

Picabeen relies heavily on the input of community volunteers to enable the continuation of services and activities at the centre. In fact, the results of the Neighbourhood Centres Queensland survey of 2023  revealed that Picabeen’s volunteer contributions and value equate to over $428,665  in dollar terms.

Picabeen is fortunate to have a strong team of committed, unpaid workers who dedicate their time each week and who help to make Picabeen the place that it is. Collectively Picabeen volunteers bring a pool of skills that are making a real difference in the lives of community members
